Donations
Thank you for considering to donate to our organisation.
How your donation can help
By donating to Sharks And Rays Australia, you directly contribute to the preservation of vulnerable elasmobranchs, with a focus on shark-like rays such as sawfish. These species often go unnoticed in conservation efforts and risk disappearing quietly due to their remote habitats and low population numbers. Your support enables SARA to continue important work, including field research in remote parts of Far North Queensland, in partnership with Aboriginal Ranger groups and Traditional Owners. These collaborations ensure our projects are based on scientific research while respecting and integrating the cultural knowledge of Traditional Owners.
SARA’s research focuses on long-term data sets that identify critical habitats for these species. This information helps inform better management practices and strengthens legislation for the protection of these important areas. By donating to SARA, you are contributing to protecting these unique animals and their habitats for future generations. As a registered charity in Australia, donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
You can donate to our PayID, which is our email address, sara-r (at) saw.fish. You can also make a PayPal donation here.
